I was in an emotionally and physically abusive relationship for 8 years. Six years ago I hung this plant outside of our bedroom window. It never bloomed. Ever. The soil remained black and unmoved. In the last four months since our break up, since the end of all the shouting, drinking and turmoil, the plant has come alive. This is what positive energy must look like in the flesh and stems. Maybe this is also me.
